The Tomb Sweeping Day
Tomb sweeping day is an important Chinese festival. It began with ancestral Chinese people. In China, Chinese people call it qingming. It falls on April 5th every year. It is a time for us to remember ones who are dead, visit our ancestors, and sweep their tombs clean.
On that day, we also put some food in front of the tomb and burn some things which are made of paper. It means we let our ancestors eat the food and let them to use the burned things in the other world.
It is our Chinese custom. It is an important festival in China.
